Is Óbidos Lagoon good for beginners?

Yes! Its shallow, flat water makes it perfect for first-timers and learners.

No prior experience is needed. Our IKO-certified instructors will guide you from zero to hero.

Most beginners can stand up and ride in about 2–3 lessons, depending on conditions and progress.

The season runs from March to October, when winds are steady and water is flat – ideal learning conditions.

Private 1:1, Semi-Private 1:2, Small Group 1:4 — plus easy rentals with delivery & pickup included.

Delivery & pickup included within Peniche, Baleal, Óbidos / Bom Sucesso. Refundable deposit: €200 per board.
