Most surfers fear the wipeout more than the wave. A hold-down feels endless, the heart rate spikes, and the panic does the rest. This course gives you the missing tool: how your body actually works underwater, how to breathe before and between sets, and how to stay calm when you get worked. Three hours — half theory, half water. No experience needed, no wave size required. A skill you'll carry every time you paddle out.

FAQ

Good to know

Do I need any apnea experience? +
No. Level 1 is built for surfers who've never trained breath-hold. If you already have some background, you'll still pick up surf-specific tools that general apnea courses skip.
How good a surfer do I need to be? +
Any level. This is about breath and calm in the surf zone, not surf technique. If you paddle out regularly, you'll get everything out of it.
Is breath-hold training safe? +
Yes. We never push to low-oxygen limits. The drills use CO2 tolerance — the same effort level as normal lap swimming — always with supervision. You learn to handle the urge to breathe, safely.
What do I bring? +
A wetsuit if you have one (we can help with rental), water to stay hydrated, and an open mind. That's it.
Can dates change? +
They're planned around conditions. If anything shifts, we tell you at least 48h ahead and move you to the next date at no cost.
Is there a Level 2? +
Yes — it's on the way with more advanced drills, plus a structured online plan. We're also building ocean rescue and certified CPR / first-aid courses for the surf environment.
